This coming winter, SnowVillage celebrates its 25th anniversary with the theme One big celebration. This year, One big celebration is seen in the form of circuses, festivals, and other international celebrations. SnowVillage will feature a carnival, a Rio de Janeiro carnival area, and an Ice Bar dressed in the green hues of Ireland, says Lapland Hotels' area manager Maria Astrén.

SnowVillage is a unique icy complex of about two hectares, with over 20 million kilograms of snow and approximately 300,000 kilograms of crystal-clear natural ice used in its construction every year. The theme changes annually and is announced in the autumn.
