Snowshoeing Adventure in Arctic Shaman Village

3 hours

Easy

Experience the quiet magic of Lapland on a guided snowshoe hike through snowy forests and frozen lakes, complete with a fireside break and stories of the North.

Step into the deep silence of the Arctic wilderness with snowshoes on your feet and a local guide leading the way. This peaceful trek through snowy forests and across frozen lake offers a rare opportunity to experience the untouched beauty of Lapland at a calm and unhurried pace.

As you move through the landscape, your guide will share fascinating stories about the local nature, animal tracks in the snow, and ancient northern folklore. The air is crisp, the snow sparkles, and each step brings you closer to the heart of the Arctic.

Halfway through the journey, we stop at a cozy wilderness shelter or traditional kota for a break by the fire. You’ll enjoy hot berry juice and a hearty filled sandwich while surrounded by snow-covered silence. This is a moment to warm up, relax, and take in the magic around you.

The experience begins and ends with round-trip transportation from Levi center to Arctic Shaman Village. Upon return, you may spot reindeer in the yard—or even catch a glimpse of the village Shaman or Santa himself.

This is a gentle, authentic experience suitable for all nature lovers.
