Snowmobile tour: Full Day Safari from Levi to the Idyllic Raattama Village, 8 Hours

Get ready for the ultimate snowmobile challenge! This full-day, 8-hour safari takes you through the magnificent Lappish fell landscapes to the picturesque Raattama village, nestled on the border of Kittilä and Enontekiö.

Raattama is an authentic Lappish village known for its traditional reindeer herding lifestyle. As you journey through the untouched wilderness, you'll be surrounded by breathtaking views and may even spot signs of local wildlife. We’ll stop for a well-earned lunch in Raattama before continuing our thrilling snowmobile adventure back through the stunning Lapland scenery.

This challenging tour is ideal for experienced riders looking for a full day of snowmobiling. It’s a physically demanding adventure, and single riding is required to ensure maximum comfort and the best experience. Please note that due to the nature of the tour, it’s an adult-only experience.

In case of adverse weather or track conditions, the route or destination may be adjusted for safety and enjoyment.

The driver of a snowmobile must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid B driver’s license. Customers intending to drive a snowmobile must bring their driving license with them on the tour. According to Finnish traffic regulations, copies, photographs or digital licenses cannot be accepted. If you do not bring your physical driving license you won't be able to drive and no refund can be offered.

What's included?

Use of thermal clothing during the safari (thermal overall, boots, gloves, woollen socks, a balaclava and helmet).
Lunch in a cozy restaurant.
Hot drink and a sweet pastry.
Snowmobile driving includes instructions and a safety briefing. Two adults ride on one snowmobile. The riding time on snowmobiles is approximately 6,5 - 7 hours.
Short stops throughout the tour to take photos of the beautiful scenery.
Guidance is in English, other languages on request.

Meeting time: 30 minutes before the start of your tour.
Meeting point: Wild Nordic Levi Safari Center, Tunturitie 2, 99130 Kittilä.
Transfers to and from this activity are included. If you do not have your own transportation and you wish to be picked up from Levi centre, please choose "pick-up" when making a booking. The pick-up meeting point is in front of the Levi Tourist Information office at Myllyjoentie 2, 99130 Kittilä. The transfer departs 30 minutes before the start of the tour.

We operate our snowmobile tours in small groups, with a maximum of 6–7 snowmobiles per guide.

Snowmobile tours are not suitable for pregnant women due to vibrations as a result of uneven tracks, and the presence of exhaust fumes of the snowmobiles.
The driver of the snowmobile is held liable for any damages caused to the snowmobile. The self liability amount for any damage is a flat rate of 900€. By purchasing an additional self liability waiver for 30€/driver you can reduce the self liability flat rate to 200€/driver/accident case.
