Snowmobile tour: 3,5 - 4 hour Snowmobile, Reindeer and Ice Fishing Combo in Levi

Experience three of Lapland’s most famous activities in one tour - Snowmobiling, a reindeer sleigh ride and a taste of ice fishing!

This adventure begins with a snowmobile ride through the stunning Lappish nature. Your journey will take you to a traditional reindeer farm, where you’ll have the unique opportunity to hand-feed the reindeer and enjoy a 1 km reindeer sleigh ride. Next, you’ll try your hand at ice fishing, a beloved pastime among the locals. Learn the traditional techniques of drilling through the thick ice and experience the tranquility of waiting for a catch beneath the frozen surface. This activity provides a genuine taste of Lappish life, connecting you with the beauty of our Arctic environment. We’ll warm up with a hot drink and snack, before returning to Levi by snowmobile.

This combo tour is perfect for anyone looking to explore the magic of Lapland through its most famous activities.

The driving time is approximately 1.5 - 2 hours and the driving distance depends on the driving skills of the group.

Two adults ride on one snowmobile, single riding is possible for an extra charge.

Children 4 - 14 years will travel in a sleigh pulled behind the guide's snowmobile when child price is paid.

Children over 140 cm can sit on a snowmobile, when paying adult price for the tour.

The driver of a snowmobile must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid B driver’s license. Customers intending to drive a snowmobile must bring their driving license with them on the tour. According to Finnish traffic regulations, copies, photographs or digital licenses cannot be accepted. If you do not bring your physical driving license you won't be able to drive and no refund can be offered.

What's included?

Use of thermal clothing during the safari (thermal overall, boots, gloves, woollen socks, a balaclava and helmet).
Hot drink and a bun.
1km reindeer sleigh ride, reindeer feeding and information about reindeers.
Traditional Ice Fishing experience.
Snowmobile driving includes instructions and a safety briefing. Two adults ride on one snowmobile. The riding time on snowmobiles is approximately 1,5 - 2 hours.
Short stops throughout the tour to take photos of the beautiful scenery.
Guidance is in English, other languages on request.
Round trip transfers from the meeting point.

Meeting time: 30 minutes before the start of your tour.
Meeting point: Wild Nordic Levi Safari Center, Tunturitie 2, 99130 Kittilä.
Transfers to and from this activity are included. If you do not have your own transportation and you wish to be picked up from Levi centre, please choose "pick-up" when making a booking. The pick-up meeting point is in front of the Levi Tourist Information offcie at Myllyjoentie 2, 99130 Kittilä. The transfer departs 30 minutes before the start of the tour.

We operate our snowmobile tours in small groups, with a maximum of 6–7 snowmobiles per guide.

Snowmobile tours are not suitable for pregnant women due to vibrations as a result of uneven tracks, and the presence of exhaust fumes of the snowmobiles.
The driver of the snowmobile is held liable for any damages caused to the snowmobile. The self liability amount for any damage is a flat rate of 900€. By purchasing an additional self liability waiver for 20€/driver you can reduce the self liability flat rate to 200€/driver/accident case.
