Glide through the serene beauty of the Arctic on our Scenic Sleighride, a relaxing one-hour daytime experience designed for those who want to enjoy Lapland’s winter landscapes at a more relaxed pace.

Seated comfortably in a cozy sleigh, you’ll be gently pulled along snowy trails by a professional guide on a snowmobile, allowing you to fully take in the magic of the surroundings.

Departing from our Safari Center, near Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi, this peaceful journey takes you through pristine forests, over frozen swamps, and along frosty white paths above the Arctic Circle. As the sleigh moves smoothly through the snow, you’ll have uninterrupted views of the sparkling winter scenery—perfect for photography or simply soaking in the calm, crisp Arctic air.

Warm blankets are provided to keep you comfortable throughout the ride, making this tour suitable for all ages and an ideal choice for families, couples, or anyone seeking a slower-paced outdoor experience. Along the way, your guide will ensure a safe and enjoyable journey while you relax and enjoy the silence and beauty of the north.

What's included?

Return transfers from Rovaniemi city centre meeting point, Ounasvaara hotels, Invisible Forest Lodge and Arctic Treehouse Hotel.
Use of thermal clothing during the safari (thermal overall, boots, gloves, woolen socks, a balaclava and helmet).
Approximately 1 hour of sleigh ride with safety instructions
Short stops throughout the tour to take photos of the beautiful scenery
Guidance is in English, other languages on request.
Snowmobile tours start and end in Wild Nordic Safari Center (Joulupukintie 1) located next to Santa Claus Village. You can skip the return transfer and continue your visit to Santa.
