Your Adventure with Elf HuuHaa

Your Christmas adventure begins with Elf HuuHaa, your family's personal guide for the experience.

HuuHaa welcomes you to Arctic Shaman Adventures and leads your family into the Christmas atmosphere through fun and traditional Lappish activities.

Together you will meet and feed the reindeer, decorate Christmas cookies and enjoy hot drinks by the fire.

Then it is time to begin a magical journey through the snowy forest. Excitement builds step by step as Elf HuuHaa leads your family through the winter landscape towards a very special destination – Santa Claus's own private yurt, his home here in Lapland.

A Private Visit to Santa's Own Yurt

The highlight of your experience is an approximately 30-minute completely private meeting with Santa Claus, reserved only for your family or group.

Inside his warm and cosy yurt, Santa will be waiting especially for you.

Santa will already know the children's names and ages, provided when booking, making the encounter personal from the very first moment.

There is plenty of time to talk with Santa, listen to stories, take photographs and videos and simply enjoy this special moment together without being rushed.

Santa can also personally give the children gifts brought by your family or arranged in advance.

Each guest receives an official Santa Claus certificate as a keepsake of this unforgettable Lapland experience.

A Magical Sleigh Ride

After meeting Santa, your adventure continues with a snowmobile-pulled sleigh ride around Lake Rautusjärvi.

Sit back and enjoy the peaceful Arctic landscape, snowy forests and frozen lake – a beautiful ending to your private Santa adventure.

And there is no need to rush back to Levi when your Santa experience ends.

You are welcome to stay at Arctic Shaman Adventures and enjoy the area at your own pace. Scheduled return transfers operate throughout the day, allowing you to choose a later transfer back to Levi.

Duration & Return to Levi

The Private Santa VIP Experience takes approximately 2.5 hours including transportation from Levi.

After the experience, you are welcome to stay longer at Arctic Shaman Adventures.

There is no need to leave immediately after your Santa experience – simply enjoy the area and take a later scheduled transfer back to Levi.

    • Suitable for families with children of all ages.
    • The experience is not physically demanding, but includes short walks outdoors in snowy and potentially icy winter conditions.
    • Santa welcomes your family in his own warm and cosy yurt at Arctic Shaman Adventures.
    • Please dress warmly and wear suitable winter footwear. Temperatures in Lapland can be very cold.
    • Please provide the names and ages of all children when booking so Santa can make the meeting personal.
    • If you bring gifts for Santa to give to the children, please hand them discreetly to our guide before meeting Santa.
    • The experience takes approximately 2.5 hours including transportation from Levi.
    • You do not need to return to Levi immediately after the Santa experience. You are welcome to stay longer at Arctic Shaman Adventures and take a later scheduled return transfer.
    • Optional food, drinks, equipment rental and additional experiences are available at an extra charge and subject to availability.
    • Not wheelchair accessible. If a member of your group has reduced mobility or other special requirements, please contact us before booking so we can advise what is possible.

      • Warm layered winter clothing – part of the experience takes place outdoors and temperatures in Lapland can be very cold
