Northern Lights Yurt Dinner & Arctic Village from Levi

Enjoy a three-course Lappish dinner in a warm glass-roof yurt, with shuttle transport from Levi and time to watch for the Northern Lights by Lake Rautusjärvi.

Leave the bright lights of Levi behind and travel by a large, comfortable Arctic Shaman Adventures coach to peaceful Rauduskylä. Round-trip transportation from central Levi is included.

Arctic Shaman Adventures is located beside Lake Rautusjärvi in an exceptionally dark area with very little light pollution. The open lakeshore and wide northern horizon make it one of the best places in the Levi area to watch the Arctic sky and look for the Northern Lights.

Step inside a warm, fire-lit Kyrgyz yurt and enjoy a three-course dinner inspired by the flavours of Lapland. Choose either the 16:00 Early Dinner or the 18:00 Aurora Dinner when booking. Your menu selections are made in advance.

Guests attending the 16:00 Early Dinner have a reserved dining time of approximately 1.5 hours. After dinner, continue the evening outdoors by the dark lakeshore, inside the lakeside kota, at the Ice Bar or elsewhere in the Arctic Village.

Guests attending the 18:00 Aurora Dinner may remain in the yurt after dinner and watch the Arctic sky through its clear roof section. You can also step outside to the completely dark lakeshore for an unobstructed view of the night sky.

Explore the Arctic Village at your own pace. Visit the Ice Bar for Arctic cocktails, mocktails and warming drinks, relax by the fire in the lakeside kota, meet the reindeer and husky puppies, or rent skates and other winter equipment when conditions allow. Drinks, equipment rentals, animal rides and additional activities are available separately.

Return transportation to central Levi is included. Recommended return departures are at 20:00 and 21:00 for Early Dinner guests, and at 22:00 and 23:00 for Aurora Dinner guests. Earlier departures may also be used when available. The 23:00 coach is the final return service of the evening.

The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, and sightings cannot be guaranteed.

    Husky and reindeer rides or other additional activities are not included and may be purchased separately, subject to availability.

    Northern Lights sightings cannot be guaranteed, as they depend on weather and natural conditions.

      Please dress warmly for outdoor Northern Lights viewing and time by the frozen lake.

      The dinner is served inside a heated yurt, but the paths and outdoor areas may be snowy, icy and uneven.

      The shuttle operates from the designated stop in Levi centre. Please check the departure details on your booking confirmation and arrive 10 minutes before departure.
