Levi: Private Ice Sauna, Wood Sauna & Hot Tub Experience

Experience a private Arctic wellness escape for 1–10 guests with a spectacular ice sauna, traditional wood-fired sauna and outdoor hot tub, including return coach transfers from Levi.

Leave central Levi aboard the Arctic Shaman Adventures coach and travel approximately 15 minutes into the peaceful winter landscape of Rautuskylä.

Your group will have exclusive use of a remarkable sauna built from real ice, a traditional wood-fired Finnish sauna, an outdoor hot tub and private changing facilities. The two-hour private reservation accommodates 1–10 guests. Towels and sauna seat covers are provided.

Begin with the unforgettable atmosphere of the ice sauna, warm up in the traditional wood-fired sauna and relax together in the outdoor hot tub surrounded by the Arctic winter landscape. You can enjoy the different experiences freely and at your own pace throughout your private reservation.

During evening sessions, the dark and peaceful location offers an excellent opportunity to see the Northern Lights. The aurora is a natural phenomenon and cannot be guaranteed, but Rautusjärvi’s open surroundings provide a beautiful setting for watching the northern sky.

Your visit can include much more than the private sauna experience. Depending on availability and conditions, you can explore the Arctic Village, see the reindeer and husky puppies, visit the lakeside kota, rent snowshoes or ice skates, order drinks from the Ice Bar or combine your visit with a separately booked three-course yurt dinner.

The scheduled experience, including direct return coach transportation from Levi, lasts approximately 2.5 hours. Guests choosing an earlier arrival or later return may spend longer enjoying the Arctic Village.

    • Winter conditions include a short walk on snow and ice; the experience is not wheelchair or stroller accessible
    • Maximum 10 guests per private session
    • Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult
    • Guests with heart or respiratory conditions, high or low blood pressure, or during pregnancy should consult a healthcare professional before using the saunas or hot tub
    • Alcoholic drinks may be purchased from the licensed Ice Bar; outside alcohol and glassware are not permitted
    • Intoxicated guests cannot use the ice sauna, wood-fired sauna or hot tub
    • Please shower before entering the hot tub
    • Arrive at the Burger King Levi meeting point 15 minutes before the scheduled shuttle departure
    • Self-driving guests should arrive 10 minutes before the session; late arrival shortens the private sauna time
    • Service animals are welcome on site but cannot enter the saunas or hot tub
