Grip the wheel and launch onto a specially crafted frozen racetrack, designed by racing pros! 

Up to 10 racers can drive once, sliding and drifting through sharp turns and daring straights where every corner brings a new thrill. The unpredictable, slippery surface guarantees wild fun and a true test of your driving instincts.

Your journey begins at the Lapland Winter Park reception, where you’ll suit up and get briefed for the quest ahead. After safety instructions and equipment fitting, it’s time to conquer the ice - with aproximately 30 minutes of driving! These karts may look familiar, but their studded tires are built for an icy grip, letting you carve and drift through the track. Whether you’re chasing glory or a first-timer seeking a new challenge, ice karting is your ticket to an unforgettable winter escapade. 

Glide, drift, and race in a world where every moment is packed with excitement and laughter. It’s easy to learn, impossible to forget, and guaranteed to get your pulse racing!

To join the action, you must be at least 150 cm (4.9 ft) tall. 


Please dress warmly and for the nature of motorsports (potential fuel smells and dirt), outerwear is not provided. If you need help with clothing rental, please ask and we will be happy to recommend trusted rental companies in Rovaniemi.

Dress code: Ice karting is a motor sport activity. As with all motor sports, clothing may be exposed to fuel smells, exhaust fumes, dirt, and other residues. Participants are advised to wear appropriate clothing.


How to arrive to your activity:

-Our shuttle bus makes it easy to reach Lapland Winter Park with two convenient pick-up points: one in city center at Korkalonkatu 26, and the second one in Santa Claus Village at north end bus park. You can find our timetable here: https://laplandwinterpark.com/info/transportation/  


You are welcome to board the bus with or without an experience ticket. Experience tickets can be purchased in advance or directly at the park however we recommend to book your experiences in advance to secure your places. Please note that seats cannot be reserved; the bus operates on a first-come, first-served basis.

What to bring

    Please dress warmly. The Arctic air bites hardest when you are moving, and the right layers are the difference between a ride you remember and one you endure. Thermal overalls, a warm hat, gloves and proper winter boots will keep you comfortable from the first minute to the last.
