Family snowmobile safari where children can try snowmobiling with children's own snowmobiles

Family safari is a shared experience where adults jump on a snowmobile and children jump into a guide-driven sleigh for a safe ride. The safari heads through the forest to a designated children's snowmobiling area, where kids over the age of 3 can enjoy the thrill of snowmobiling on a designated, limited area. We also enjoy hot drinks and biscuits at the hut located in the area. This is sure to be a memorable experience for everyone in the family.

Child ticket price includes children’s snowmobiles (for over 3 years old). This safari is ideal for families with children! 

The length of safari is approx. 2-3 hours. Driving distance is approx. 15km.

Adult 130€ per person in a shared snowmobile // Adult single 160€ in single snowmobile // Child 130€ (in sleigh/pod)

What's included?

    Safari price includes guidance in english, thermal clothing, fuel, traffic insurance (maximum self liability 1500EUR)  and hot drinks with a snack.

      Please note

        Snowmobiling is a physical sport, it is not recommended for people with disability.

        Snowmobile programs are not suitable for pregnant women.

        This program includes a snack, so please advise on any special diets or food allergies in advance.

        Terms and conditions for the Childrens track:

        - Children must always be accompanied by a parent

        - Parents carry 100% responsibility

        - Not for children under 3-years old

        - Know your children' s skills. Driving is at your own risk.

        - If problems occur the driving can be stopped. No refund in this case.

        - Vmax Rentals has no insurance for clients and their property.

        - Deductible 500e/ Snowmobile (in case of crash)

        Child tickets entitles children to a seat in a sled pulled by a snowmobile driven by the guide. Children taller than 130 cm are allowed to sit on a snowmobile behind an adult, when adult pays adult single ticket. Tokka Safaris Oy reserves the right to deny the participation of small children for snowmobiling part due to safety reasons (e.g. demanding weather or trail conditions).

        Adult single ticket gives you the possibility to drive the snowmobile solo or with your child. With adult ticket you will share the snowmobile. Guests can take turns in driving when sharing the snowmobile.

        Self liability can be reduced to 350EUR by paying a waiver supplement 35EUR per driver. In case the driver has not followed the laws of Road Traffic Act (a.k.a instructions given by our guide) damages to snowmobile are to be paid in full (no self-liabilities or self-liability waivers apply). Please notice the waiver applies only to Tokka Safaris snowmobiles, the children's snowmobiles are not covered with this waiver!

        The driver of the snowmobile has to be at least 18 years of age with a driver’s license valid in Finland. Driving a motorized vehicle under the influence of alcohol or intoxicating drugs is prohibited by the laws of Finland.

        Safety and driving instructions are demonstrated before every safari and customer is obligated to follow the instructions of the guide.

        What to bring

          Please take your driving license with you on the snowmobile safari as the police may check the validity of the license during the safari.

          Wear flexible high collar thermal wear under the overall we provide you (long thermal underwear, thermal/woolen socks, loose-fitting fleece / wool or similar on top)
