Lapland is astonishingly beautiful during the polar nights. All of nature's phenomena are more visible against the night sky, making them enchanting to watch.

In the old times, the Sami families lived in hut buildings and led a normal everyday life. Food was prepared by the fire, and the children were playing with each other. During the evening hours, families often gathered together by an open fire to tell stories and to sing Sami songs.
